We have 4 Owl Eggs!

Tootsie the Owl has been busy this past week.  We now have 4 owl eggs in the planter outside my window.  My Daddy and I watched her lay her third egg, which was both uncomfortable and interesting.  Tootsie also brought her new mouse friend to visit the nest, Mr. Mouse.  He seems like a nice mouse, although he doesn't seem to say or do very much and, for some reason, Tootsie is always biting him.

I'm worried about Mr. Mouse.  He hasn't moved for a while and I think he might be missing his head.

The Owls are Back!

Tootsie the Owl is finally back.  She lives in the planter on the ledge outside of my window and laid another egg, which I am hoping will hatch soon (I already named the baby owl "Pop").  Even though Tootsie and Mr. Owl are very loud at night with their hooting, I don't mind the noise and we all love having them around.
